These are things guides can't explain, they could all be guides of their own. ![]() Understand the difference between additive and multiplicative bonuses, research breakpoints, know that procs can't proc other procs, even little things like manually casting shadow power during gr pushes (sorry to ruin some impales days - but you need to constantly recast this. This isn't a cookie cutter game, use your brains, actually LEARN the mechanics. If you're shitting on a guide because it doesn't "work for you" then you are a simpleton, and need to expand your views. There will always be tiny adjustments every single player must learn and apply to their playstyle and gearing. Item stats are greatly varied and randomized, unlike a game like wow where there are specific values to equipment, and thus legitimate BiS use cases. This isn't WoW, there is NO SUCH THING as an exact build. What they are is a strong baseline backed by the authors and others years of experience, and they offer a view into the methods experienced players use when theorycrafting their builds.
